This notice describes the enquiry form on this website. GasTech Heating & Plumbing is run by Martin Lomas in Mere, Wiltshire. Questions about your enquiry or personal information can be sent to gastechmartin@gmail.com or raised by calling 07783 004377.
What the form collects
The enquiry form asks for your name, phone number, postcode, the service you need and a short message. The boiler quote tool also asks about your property, current fuel and boiler, bedrooms, bathrooms, installation plans, controls, cleaning preferences, energy interests and timing. It can include your chosen boiler range, package inclusions and the illustrative price shown. You can also provide an email address. Please only include information relevant to the job; there is no need to send sensitive personal information.
How your enquiry is used
Your details are sent to GasTech so Martin can respond, discuss the work and arrange next steps. Sending the form does not book an appointment or sign you up to a marketing list.
How the form is delivered
Submissions are processed by FormSubmit and routed to GasTech’s Gmail mailbox. The submission service may present a spam-prevention check and process technical information for delivery and security. FormSubmit’s documentation states that its submission archive is retained for 30 days. Read FormSubmit’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy for information about their services.
WhatsApp and the coverage map
WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp or its website. In the boiler quote tool, the button prepares a draft containing your answers and contact details; you choose whether to send it to Martin. WhatsApp then handles that conversation under its own privacy arrangements.
The interactive coverage map uses OpenStreetMap tiles. When the map appears, your browser requests map images from OpenStreetMap, which receives normal connection information such as your IP address. Your enquiry or quote postcode is not sent to the map service. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
Website data
This website does not include advertising pixels, an analytics script or a newsletter subscription. Hosting and security services may process technical information, such as an IP address, to provide and protect the website. The quote tool holds answers in page memory until you reload, without using browser storage. Downloading your brief saves a text file on your device. Email-app links open a draft in your chosen email application.
Questions about your information
Contact Martin if you would like to ask about the information held about your enquiry, correct it, request its deletion, or ask how long it will be retained. Information connected with work you commission may also form part of GasTech’s business records.
